How we research
We map conservatory curricula, review motor-learning studies, track student outcomes, and interview practicing teachers before publishing. Instrument recommendations come from hands-on criteria such as action height, neck dimensions, and string tension, not brand sponsorships. We disclose instruments used and avoid hype.
Review and updates
Lead author Sherina Arabella, MTNA Nationally Certified Teacher of Music (NCTM), reviews pedagogy guides before publication. Lessons are revisited when curricula or instruments change, and each article shows its last-updated date.
