Papa Khan’s debut Monstercat EP is his most emotive to date.
The Class of 2021 star has finally dropped Missing, a 5-track EP from one of the most influential figures in the coloration bass genre.
The record options a trio of previously released tracks: “Get to U,” “The Tide” and the pop-punk-influenced Valentine’s Working day anthem “By no means Cared.” New additions to Khan’s arsenal are “So Much Absent” and “Beg for U.”
The former functions personal lyrics about adore and adore missing, soundtracked by but a further fast-traditional bassline from the style-bending Indonesian producer. The latter of the new singles starts with softly-spoken lyricism in advance of reducing into a twinkly bass drop stuffed with frenetic synths for a chaotic still meticulously-crafted tune.

Speaking about the new EP, Khan explained that the album was inspired by deeply emotional moments in his private daily life.
“This EP is rather a great deal about what occurred to me in my private lifestyle, mainly about breakups and things,” he said, per a press launch shared with EDM.com. “Slipping into a hole (appreciate) and craving much more from it even though it hurts. Only to make me truly feel even lonelier.”
