BMG acquires Schlager label Telamo

BMG is obtaining Germany’s biggest unbiased report label Telamo, a top participant in German Schlager songs.
It is the recent iteration of BMG’s largest single label acquisition to day in its residence region of Germany, and on a world-wide foundation its most significant label financial commitment considering that the acquisition of Nashville-primarily based country label BBR Tunes Group in 2017.
Telamo’s present workforce will continue to be in position when the deal is finished, with co-founder Ken Otremba as Taking care of Director. In the meantime his other co-founders – Kathleen Herrmann and Marko Wünsch – will go on to act as consultants for the label.
Confirming the offer, Otremba claims: “Since our inception, our intention has been to build the optimum and most fashionable conditions for our artists. Telamo will keep its former partnerships but will now offer you access to more possibilities – equally domestic and international”.
